Outreach Ministry

Purpose - The Outreach Team exists to fulfill the first part
Jesus' last command to his disciples, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, ---." Matthew 28:19



Meetings will be called by the chairman and will usually be on
Sunday afternoons at the church around 5 PM to 5:30 PM.


The team will be responsible for reaching out to the local
community in hope of convincing them of their need to attend church.

Besides the expected ways of outreach such as newspaper
advertisements, internet website, and banners, the team looks for new
and innovative ways to reach the community. Some past activities
have been popcorn in TCCC cups at Friday Night at the Flick in
Jacobson Park, miniature style VBS in parks and backyards,
participation in parades, and whatever YOUR, new idea maybe.


Team members develop and evaluate ideas and then recruit the best
members to carry out the message to the community. Team requires
members that think "outside" the box as well as those that are can
develop the idea into a functional and workable outreach. The team
also welcomes ideas to be submitted for evaluation by the team. Have
