Singles Ministry

Romans 12:10-13 (NIV)
"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Purpose
* To encourage and involve singles within the church
* To unite singles in fellowship,
service, and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ
* To provide service to other ministries, committees and our community that will bring glory to God.

Some of the events we have had and participated in include:
-Inspiring Singles Potluck
–Inspiring Singles Meeting
–Bible Devotion
–Legends games
-Horsemen's games
-Singles Cookout
-Inspiring Singles Meeting
-Volunteer - Pancake Breakfast benefiting the Hope Center; UK move in days; Habitat for Humanity

We have planned the following events for fall and winter and we want to see you there!

Sept 28 - Potluck in the PARK - we're going to eat and play at Eckton Park after 2nd service; bring your favorite dish and we'll provide the hotdogs and hamburgers! See you there!

Oct 11 - CATS GAME - 6pm at the Dennisons - let's route on the CATS together

Oct 25 - time to be announced - meet at the Sr. Ctr on Nicholasville Road and decorate for Halloween

Nov 7 - Fri afternoon - meet and decorate the Sr. Ctr for Thanksgiving

Nov 9 - Potluck at church - 12:30

December - we're planning another visit to the Woodford Theatre Production Co plays - stay tuned!

For Business luncheons at NorthEast (all are welcome) visit them at 11:45am on the following Wednesdays for a mid-week luncheon with believers:
