eastern kentucky flood relief

Thank you for praying for our neighbors in eastern Kentucky that are dealing with catastrophic flooding that has left thousands displaced and many still missing. Currently, we have some people heading to help with relief efforts. Please be praying for them, the people of Eastern KY, and the first responders. The team will be reporting back to us the needs of the area so that we can respond as a church appropriately. Below, you will find some other ways in which you can help our fellow Kentuckians at this moment:

pray

One of the most powerful ways we can serve the Eastern Kentucky community during this time is through prayer. Please join us as we continue to pray as a church for our neighbors that are hurting. Here are some prayer points:

Pray for those who are physically in the middle of the wreckage and overwhelmed with what is before them, that the peace of Christ would guard their hearts and minds as they recover from this devastation. We pray that He would give hope to those who have lost their homes, loved ones, friends, neighbors, and stability.

- Pray for rain to stop, for no more continued flooding, and for no other lives lost in this tragedy.

- Pray for surrounding communities and churches to have wisdom on how to help, and to provide needed care for each person, family, and community in the coming days.

- Pray for the first responders and their willingness to help these communities. We pray they would safely come to aid those in need using their unique skills and abilities to do so.
