When you join us at Tates Creek you can expect:
- A friendly welcome
We are thankful for the time and energy you spend to come and visit at Tates Creek. We have a trained team of people standing by ready to welcome you for your first visit. When you go to the guest tent at the main entrance in the back of the church, you will find friendly volunteers ready to guide you to the children’s area and the worship center and to answer all your questions. They will be glad to do everything in their power to help you have a great visit and learn about the Lord.
- Biblical preaching
Tates Creek is committed to standing firm on the truth of the Bible. We believe where the Bible speaks, we speak. But with the Bible is silent, we remain silent and open to differing opinions and ideas. The Bible contains timeless truths for salvation of the soul and joyful living while we remain on earth.
- A safe place for your child
We take your child’s safety seriously. Our children’s area is specifically designed with one entrance door for your child’s check-in. All other exit doors are alarmed. Every room has windows so all activities in the room can be monitored. At check-in, all children and parents are given a tag with matching numbers. You must have your matching tag to pick up Your child. (Don’t worry, if you lose your tag we have other ways to make sure your child safely gets to you, we promise, we won’t keep your children, even if you want us to.) On the child’s tag, any allergy or medical information is noted so all volunteers working with your child will immediately know of any special needs your child may have.
All our volunteers working with children have been interviewed, background checked (every three years), and trained regarding our safety policy. At Tates Creek Christian Church you will find a staff extremely concerned about the safety of your children.
