CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
OUR GOAL
Here at Tates Creek, our goal is to help raise a generation that loves Jesus and has a great understanding of the Bible and what it means to be a Christian. It is our hope that kids will spend time with God, spend time with others, use their gifts, and share their story with others. We want to open the doors for families to attend church and grow in Christ together.

Kids can host their own LemonAiD Stand in their neighborhood to support kids who are homeless

Join us on June 3 from 5 pm to 7 pm for a night of fun! There will be LEGO challenges, games, prizes, food, and more!! This event is for ALL families and we will also recognize those that are moving up to another group at church too. It’s going to be a BLAST!
711 CAMP
For many campers, the 7/11 Camp experience is their first one away from home. 7/11 offers the reassurance and unconditional love younger campers need. Every action-packed day buzzes with excitement and adventure for a week full of memories that will last a lifetime. Children ages 7-11 are invited to attend this camp with us this July!

fun & safe environments
Children ages nursery-5th grade will meet in the Tates Creek Kid's House located on the 2nd floor of the church down the hall from the Worship Center. Students will start at the Front Porch for check-in and will then go to their assigned classroom areas where they will meet their awesome TC Kids House leaders!
We create safe environments parents can trust. All of our volunteers have gone through a thorough screening process with a background check and an interview.

Every week in Children’s Ministry we craft teaching and worship to bring the Bible to life in a way kids will understand and engage with. We want our kids to know and follow Jesus, and the best place to start is by helping them understand what the Bible has to say. We also staff our rooms with leaders who love Jesus and will help your kids discover what it means to live out God’s Word every day.

Children's ministry frequently asked questions
We offer the following events for children each year:
- Vacation Bible School
- Bluegrass Christian Camp
We offer the following times for these age groups:
Birth-5th Grade:
- Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11 AM
Drop off and pick-up are as following for each age group:
Birth-3rd:
- Check-in at TCKids House before 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.
- Pick up at TCKids House after 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.
4th-5th:
-These students begin in 11am service and are dismissed during the songs. Keep an eye out for the "Pre-teen dismissal" prompt on screen.
-Pick-up for these students is at TCKids House.
