JUSTIN FLUHR
SENIOR MINISTER
As a native of Kentucky, Justin has served in full time ministry in churches from Indiana to California. He is married to his wife Laura and has two incredible children, Carter and Ava. When he's not at church he's likely to have a guitar or a golf club in his hand. He loves movies, Ale-8 and playing disc golf with his son. He is passionate about helping people find their purpose in life and growing in their relationship with God.

MASON BALLARD
WORSHIP MINISTER
The worship of the church is formative. Mason cares about crafting worship gatherings that form disciples into the likeness of Jesus Christ through prayers, scriptures, and participation. His passion is seeing the church grow as a community that continually commits to meeting together and to the service of others. Mason enjoys discussing and learning with others about worship—not just music, but worship.

DAN CRAIG
WORSHIP MINISTER
Dan Craig, along with his wife Karen, are natives of Illinois. They are both graduates of the music department of Lincoln Christian University and have led music ministries for over 50 years. They have three sons and eight grandchildren. Coming to Kentucky to retire, didn’t last long. Serving the Lord is their greatest joy.

NATHAN CAMPBELL
YOUTH MINISTER
Nathan works with junior high through college age students. His passion is Jesus. Every aspect of the student ministry should point toward Jesus. Nathan fully believes that students are not the church of tomorrow, rather they are the church of today and are vital members of the congregation. Nathan hopes to get students involved in serving in areas of ministry throughout the church. When he is not in the office Nathan loves hiking, eating out with friends, or watching soccer!

CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR
Dawn was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She and her husband, Robert, have four children and three grandchildren. They love anything that involves spending time together as a family; camping, movies, trips etc. Family is a gift and they enjoy it to the fullest. Dawn has a passion for equipping, encouraging and supporting families as they learn about Christ and lead their own children in a relationship with Him!

ERNIE PERRY
CONNECTIONS MINISTER
Ernie, raised as a minister’s son, originally from Anderson County, KY, has been in ministry for 43 years, and spoken in over 100 churches. He and his wife, Pam, have two married daughters and three grandchildren. His passion is teaching and leading people into Biblical community and growing devoted followers of Jesus. He loves UK sports, eating out, country ham, the Oak Ridge Boys, day trips in his ’98 Corvette, and playing with his grandkids.

LAUREN HOLDERMAN
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Joining the staff in May 2021, Lauren works to oversee all church communications. Lauren is passionate about using digital media to spread the Gospel, grow the church community, and show others the love of Jesus. When she is not in the office, Lauren loves cycling, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

ROBERT VELA
EXECUTIVE MINISTER
As the Executive Administrator, Robert oversees the church's operations, strategic planning, administration, finances, and human resources. Robert and his wife Dawn are originally from New Orleans, LA and have four children & three grandchildren. When not at church, he loves camping with his family and friends, playing drums or bass guitar, and creating delicious food in the kitchen. Robert has a heart for discipleship that leads others to go and make disciples.

Jenni has worked in the front office for over ten years. She keeps our membership records up to date and produces our weekly and monthly publications. Jenni and her husband Shannon have been members at Tates Creek since 1994 and have two children.

Jan has worked in the front office on Mondays since 2016. Jan and her husband Lannie have been married for 25 years. They live in Lexington with their two dogs, Curly and Parker, and have a daughter who is in grad school at Guelph University in Ontario, Canada.

KIM JONES
FINANCIAL ADMIN
Kim has served in the front office since 2005, and is responsible for payroll, membership giving, accounts payable and financial reporting. She is a resident of Madison County where she serves on the Youth Leadership and Missions Outreach Teams at her church. Kim’s passion for missions and making Jesus known led to her volunteer role with Operation Christmas Child as an Area Coordinator for a team that works with the ministry in seven counties. Outside of serving the church, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob, three grown children and five grandchildren.

BILLY BISHOP
FACILITIES MANAGER
Billy has served as our Facilities Manager since 2009. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and cleaning of the church grounds and building. He and his wife, Cindy, have been members at Tates Creek since 2009. Outside of work, Billy enjoys fishing and teaching karate.
